By metro:

By high-speed train:

From Kunming, take a high-speed train to Shilin West Station (30 minutes), then transfer to the shuttle bus to the park. 

By bus:

From Kunming East Bus Station (2 hours).

¥130 per person; optional electric cart service is ¥25.


Things to Do


• Wander through the “Major Stone Forest” and “Minor Stone Forest” areas.

• Learn about the legend of Ashima, a Sani girl whose story is tied to the park.


Tips


Wear comfortable walking shoes, as the park requires significant walking. Arrive early to avoid crowds.

Day 3

Erhai Lake

From Dali Ancient Town, take bus 8 or rent a bike for a scenic ride along the lake.
